Giles has over 30 years of experience in technology across multiple sectors advising some of the world’s largest corporates, prior to launching Hubble in 2020 he spent over 6 years in Mergers & Acquisitions at ‘Big Four’ firms as a Partner. He has also incubated and exited 3 start-ups in the noughties.
Giles is a leading advisor on technology/digital transformation at the ExecCo level. This has included directly advising the senior stakeholders in some of the world’s largest organisations such as Unilever, Nestle, PMI, Macquarie, Brookfield, Blackstone and SoftBank Vision Fund. He’s a previous CDO/COO in many businesses and built the world’s most advanced insights engine at a Big Four firm which he can tell you about. He leads our team of advisors helping companies raise capital from $1MM-$150MM.
John had a career in Deloitte where in the early days his background was in Corporate Finance. He was the Senior Partner and CEO of the UK Firm for 12 years and also Global Managing Partner and the Global Chairman.
John stepped out of Deloitte in 2011. From 2011 to the current date he has held a range of roles in the FTSE and in Private Equity, with emphasis on chairing businesses including Amec Foster Wheeler, London Business School including chairing the Finance and Audit Committee, Chairing two private equity-backed businesses (for Towerbrook and Electra) from investment through to business sales; was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity until July 2019; with backing from Hg, founded business services group, CogitalGroup (now Azets) in 2016 and Chaired the company until end March 2020. John is now a material shareholder in the group; was Chairman of G4S plc, the world’s leading security services group. A position he held for 9 years through to its sale to Allied Universal in 2021.
John currently Chairs PE firm Metric Capital Partners and PE-backed Stonehage Fleming. John is also Chairman of Slater & Gordon Group and finally, Interpath Advisory; the UK’s largest top-tier independent turnaround and restructuring business serving national and international markets.
Min is Chief Data Officer and Min’s expertise is helping organisations understand the value of and applying data science. Min has 30 years of experience in data science and analytics. He began his career as a computer programmer and progressed to senior leadership roles during his 25 years at Deloitte.
Min’s last remit at Deloitte was senior director of their Analytics Lab where he showcased the power of data and analytics. He set up the Lab, led and developed it in partnerships with larger software vendors such as IBM and SAS and niche start-ups. He helped develop Deloitte analytics capability and executed routes to market internationally as part of the company’s global strategy to be the number one in analytics. Min’s other roles have included director of forensic technology, computer security, audit and IT.
James is our CTO and is experienced in working with senior leadership teams to define and execute strategies to deliver innovative solutions to internal and external client problems.
At a ‘Big Four’ firm, James helped build the processes and lead the local and international teams to manage new multi-disciplinary teams built around strategy, operational transformation, innovation, go-to-market and other key skill sets. His work has spanned digital innovation and big data and was involved in launching a big data observatory at Imperial College London.
In addition to this, he developed physical and operational blueprints to productise big data “Insight Centers” in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, the US, Australia, France, Netherlands and South Africa.
